SnowBuni Strip Poker – Unfinished page 1 of 1 by cartoonist Jeffrey H Wood

While digging through my archives, I rediscovered this unfinished pinup of Sylvalagi bunigirl  SnowBuni playing strip poker (and making a mental inventory of the number of items she has left to strip, before she officially “loses”).

Her opponent is unseen, because (as I recall), this was intended to be an art jam with another artist’s anthropomorphic/anime character (as seen by the title, Buni vs Buni).  For whatever reason, however, the jam was never completed… and we’ll never know just how well SnowBuni can maintain her poker face while indulging in straight shots of some unidentified liquor.

Undated, but the artstyle seems to indicate mid-1990s, when I was a student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington (USA).  Go Cougs.

I think this is the first publication, ever, of this particular pinup.

I really should have posted a Mother’s Day cartoon today in honor of the (American) holiday, but I have nothing prepared.  Well, I have some flowers and gifts for my wife (mother of my kids), but nada for the creative community. Sorry.

Fortunately for Sylvalagi bunigirls HoniBuni and  SnowBuni, the calvary arrives to take charge of the situation… but it appears that The Loathsome One has escaped to survive another day!
