Artist Profile - Jeffrey H. Wood
Jeff began drawing cartoons in 1984, and it was all downhill from there.- His work has appeared in over 200 small press and independent publications. He was one of the founding members of the "Seattle Four," associate editors publishing the small press trade journal Comics F/X. He is a 20 year veteran of Cartoonists Northwest, Seattle's only Cartoonists' Club. He served a term as chairman of the UFO (United Fanzine Organization, an international collection of self-publishers), and is a sometime member of the Amateur Press Association (APA) Rowrbrazzle (the oldest and largest funny animal publication in the world).
- Jeff is probably best known for his independent comic book characters, SnowBuni (a sexy bunnygirl Bond spy) and Georgey Horsey (a children's character).
- Jeff is currently working as a mechanical and manufacturing engineer for a Class 8 truck parts firm. He's probably the only engineer who insists that part designs should "look cool," as well as meet performance requirements.
