Comments by Cartoonist Jeffrey H Wood:

  • This particular page shows an aspect of Sylvalagi society which I never had the opportunity to explore completely... as written, the various Sylvalagi races have survived a number of fratricidal wars, and lost the use of many high tech facilities (such as orbiting platforms, shipworks, and space stations). As the SnowBuni continuity develops, the Sylvalagi are just beginning to reclaim and revive their lost heritage.
  • As written, each corridor had multiple "up" and "down" orientations, due to careful application of artificial gravity fields. This would multiply the number of useful surfaces inside of otherwise cramped military vessels.
  • This piece was completed in 1991. Hopefully, the reader will see some improvement in my style and technique, in subsequent artwork.
  • This is one of two full-page pinups appearing in SnowBuni's first independent comic book (self-titled "SnowBuni"), published by Edd Vick's MU Press (1991).
