Comments by Cartoonist Jeffrey H Wood:
- This small character pose of SnowBuni details her flight suit, which is not often seen in her pinup art. Technically she is a member of a combat group, but she spends most of her time as an intelligence officer and agent provocateur in the majority of her print appearances. In these stories, she usually appears in casual wear, or high-tech spy gear.
- Note the insignia on her left shoulder pad, featuring her unit's "Screaming Skull" icon.
- The small "deadman" cassette player is a quick visual gag which was not included in the pinup in the final print version, as it was a throwaway detail. It also dates the piece from the 1990s, as personal cassette players have since been replaced with portable CD and mp3 players.
- This small character pose appeared in the small press publication The SnowBuni - Peach Jam, featuring a very unlikely team-up between Donna Barr's WWII "Desert Peach" German army officer in Africa, and my own Sylvalagi bunnygirl, SnowBuni.
- As Donna Barr says:
- The perfect German gentleman meets Jeff's bouncy buxom bunny-girl. This mix of talents, styles and worldviews should not have worked, but Jeff's and my readers thought otherwise. Still in demand -- which still confuses the hell out of us.
- Published conjointly by Pseudo Comics and Donna Barr's Fine Line Press.
- During the 1980s and 1990s, my publishing house, Pseudo Comics, printed a large number of low-quality SnowBuni print comics. Fortunately, most of these are no longer extant.
