• Commissioned T-shirt Artwork made for the Civil Engineering Department at Washington State University (Pullman, Washington), for the 1993 Annual Concrete Canoe competition. Contestants actually did construct canoes made out of concrete, and compete with other universities in a variety of design and performance events. Contrary to popular opinion, though, the canoes were not heavy-- they often consisted of a thin veneer of concrete over a lightweight honeycomb structure.
• Artwork features my version of Butch, the anthropomorphic mascot cougar for Washington State University (seen at all Coug sporting events).
• During my years as a student, I made a number of T-shirt designs... mostly for the Civil Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
