  • When I decided to team up Snowbuni and Fission Chicken, I wanted to feature a menace that was:
    • (1) big enough to necessitate the powers of both characters, and
    • (2) a good tie-in to the Halloween theme.
  • After mulling over the classic monsters (Frankenstein monster, werewolves, vampires, etc.), my mind drifted to the classic Peanuts comic strip set-up of Linus waiting for "The Great Pumpkin." Aha! How about "The Great ROTTEN Pumpkin!" And then the addition of evil, smaller jack-o-lantern thralls provided extra menace (and more targets)!
