Art Introduction by Guest Artist Alfredo Lopez:

  • I wanted to do something that was fun without being too in-your-face patriotic. I decided that instead of having her set off fireworks, it would be cool to have her be the firework. So, I gave her a SnowBuni jetbike and sent her off.
  • When doing the background, I figured the hand drawn stars would give it a flag-like quality as opposed to a night sky. And, I tried to keep to a red, white and blue color palette to tie it all together.
