  • Jason Waltrip - There simply wasn't a choice this time; Jason's depiction of the various femmes - fatales and otherwise - of Star Trek takes [my first place pick]! All of the women depicted are recognizably characters from various Star Trek incarnations; they're beautiful; and the backgrounds are lush and varied (if perhaps a teensy bit cut-and-paste). I like the extra fillip of the Star Trek font for the caption. Very well done; I could see a poster of this adorning a college dorm room wall.

• Judge 02
  • Jason Waltrip: Women of Star Trek. Technically excellent, this piece didn't do much for me. All the girls are well drawn with the appropriate backgrounds - but the artwork never came alive for me. I assume the costumes were used in the series – I wish I could recognize from what episode they came from. Jason gets my Star Trek Nerd award for watching the series too many times.
