  • CottonFluff - Bug!
  • I like the bug.... there's something delightfully surreal about it; especially considering the inclusion of Random in the comic. There's also a touch of the surreal to the design work as well: very cartoony, and well executed. I like how Random's "costume" is a shirt with the word "costume" on it. (Holy Collegeville Batman!) That seems like just the sort of thing he'd think was a good idea.

  • Phil St. Gerard -(CottonFluff) - Bug.
  • This one confused me a lot - the bug in the lower left hand corner did give it a strange disconnected feeling. If it was meant for the contest bug - then the title, 'Bug' was confusing. Only by repeated viewing did I finally understand that the strange, otherworldly voice come from Random. It's not clear where the other people speaking in the closing panel are.

  • CottonFluff - Bug!
  • I like the body language in the opening panel. That's classic 'terror' there! Unfortunately, the characters were pretty far off-model, so that I needed the top caption to know who they were. It might have helped to color the background behind Random differently from the main panel so it would stand out more.
  • I didn't understand exactly what Random was doing with his viewer in the second panel. Unmasking trick-or-treaters? Finding spies? It could go either way.
  • Er... nice bug. (yep, I know you intended it for Jeff's placement of his logo)
